Bussed to Quitumbe terminal and saw a very different side of Quito. Each stop was labeled with pictures of what each location was known for (a school, immigration documents, industry, etc), which I thought was a genius idea. When we arrived to the terminal, there was a guy yelling, "BaƱos," but it wasn't about the bathrooms this time. He had pegged us right. We were heading the hot baths of Termas Papallacta.

The pictures speak for themselves.

There were a series of experiments you could only do standing on the equator. One was balancing a raw egg on a nail.

We were surprised to learn we could get our passports stamped at "Mitad del Mundo: Middle of the World!"
